Great AST day in Calzon. Snow was playful, and more set up than anticipated. About 20-25 cm of new storm snow from Friday made it into Calzon, and in the cutblocks below treeline at least it’s well bonded. Extensive sled testing found no instabilities. Freezing level seemed to be about 1300m, below the surface was a rain crust. Surface hoar to 5 mm is growing on all elevations we travelled.
Overall HS is about 160 cm BTL
