Comments
Rode Aussie couloir on Joffre today. The couloir was hard and crusty but rode well after 5 skiers descended ahead of us breaking it up. The summit seemed to have large cornices hanging off the other side, so we kept our distance.
Slopes heading down the Matier glacier and towards Joffre lakes were wind affected and highly variable. Some patches of great riding and others with noticeable wind slab and poor riding. Slabby areas were in patches throughout the descent so be cautious of them.
