Second hand report from a friend. No involvement...did some impressive riding to ride it out through the trees. First run down after climbing the shoulder, chose a more mellow slope beside the main avalanche path. Smart. Triggered on convex roll near some trees (see photos), slide didn't run far with lower angle terrain immediately below the slope.
