Comments
We went up the Asulkan, towards Asulkan pass. Test profiles in the tree triangle, at 1900m, NE- E Asp. producing ECTP 27; CTM-H (SP- RP) down 70 to 100 cm on SH size 3-4. We also found SH on the moraines above the hut producing CTH 21 (SP) down 65cm, size 1-2. Continued evidence of previous avalanche cycle up to size 3, in ALP/TL widespread. Up to 35cm of low density HST, tapering with elevation, which makes for good skiing down to 1700m. December 5th rain crust supportive below 2100m and breakable below 1700m.
