Comments
Rode treeline and alpine area above West Nile trees just east of Grand daddy couloir. Melt crust in the trees on the way up with 5 to 10 cm of fresh snow. Treeline and alpine conditions were great. Couple old slides were observed. No recent avalanche activity observed. Snow turned heavy in the trees as the day went on and the temps went up. Still great snow to be found at higher elevations!
