Comments
Good run today off of Glacier Crest on the western face towards Asulkan. Wicked and sketchy up track though. We turned around just as the cornices of Glacier Crest came into view. Some recent size 1.5 likely 2-3 days old ran probably from cornice release in the open bowl higher up. Snow was coming down when we made our way back down via dense trees. HS was 280cm at 2000m. No activity to report. Snow was really amazing and quite fluffy. Some wind effect and slab near the ridge Crest though. Biggest threat was the humongous tree bombs just waiting for a human to splatter. Up track will likely be in bad shape after a few more skiers given how steep it was set.
