Comments
Wrapping up a week of ski touring at mallard lodge, in the west Rockies just north of Athabasca pass. Excellent skiing at and below tree line. We skied steep open slopes to 40 deg, during a week of generally snowy weather.
We never did get into the alpine after the first day and suspect conditions may be different as moderate winds were noted-up high at different times over the week.
