Comments

... as in, our collective Goose is cooked until we see a reset at the Pass.

Incredible greenhaus effect 10:30am-noon, calm winds made for very warm conditions.

North aspects moist in the top 5-10cm up to 2300m, and wet below 1700m. Skins were glopping even in the very well travelled skin track! Many skier triggered pinwheels / cinnamon rolls lower ALP and TL. Tree bombs BTL!

We had perhaps a dozen decent turns at the top of the dome (circa 2450m) and then it got progressively heavier.

A group up the Illecillewaet reported similar greenhaus effect, in addition to variable sastrugi presumably due to earlier katabatic winds.

Other areas may not have been cooked so badly, but if you were thinking of heading up the Asulkan or Illecillewaet I’d say save your knees the anguish.
