Comments
There was virtually no snow until we reached the Meadows, and could really only find rideable snow where the wind had not eroded snow in the trees. The Back Meadows did have some areas we could play and climb a little. We did note that under the fresh snow , was some freakin hard snow and ice from the previous melt. It was about to snow as we left, wind was picking up and the clouds were dark. Up to Windy Ridge was the worst snow conditions I have seen in years, running creeks across the trail in.
