Comments
Followed skintrack up creek to Fraser chutes, continued above chutes to the ridge top to get a view of the chilkoot side. Overall the riding quality in that area is still really good. Above treeline there is some wind affected snow but relatively minimally so the skiing here was very pleasant, which surprised us as we were sure white pass winds would have scoured above treeline since last snowfall. Below treeline was powder with very little to no wind affected snow/crust. We observed no whumpfs, cracks, or slab breaks and the snow felt well consolidated. The chutes are starting to look a bit tracked out but we were still able to find fresh runs. Hoar frost on snow surface in all zones. Awesome day above valley fog.
