Found 2-3mm buried surface hoar down 60cm on a S-aspect at 750m. This widespread persistent weak layer was reactive both on test slopes and in a snow pit. Results for compression test CT 18 SC and extended column test ECTP 23 & 24 down 60cm. Used a probe to identify other strong over weak layering deeper in the snowpack and multiple melt-freeze interfaces below 600m.
