Comments
Skied the North bowl from the col between Thar and Nak Peak. On the ascent we encountered wet snow overlying old windslab on solar aspects and stiff windslabs near ridge top, which made for challenging travel. Ski crampons proved to be helpful. There has been a significant amount of traffic on Thar, and there were several groups in the area today.
