Subject triggered a size 1 windslab avalanche near the top of their line. They were knocked off balance and were carried into a small grove of trees sustaining a broken leg. Pemberton SAR responded and had to do a longline extraction due to the risk of triggering more slides while lowering down the gulley system. Subject was taken to Whistler Clinic for treatment of their injuries.
