Comments
We found great skiing in sheltered areas on south and south east aspects and at lower elevations in the trees. We found the solar crust in open south facing meadows and found wind slabs on all aspects but especially closer to the top of the ridge. There was plenty of sloughing early in the day and as as temperatures warmed the snow started to become slightly more cohesive. Wind slab were often deceivingly hidden under low density snow.
