Comments

Observed a thin 1-2cm crust around 1500 ft at a depth of roughly 50cm below the surface caused by a previous warming prior to recent fresh snow load.

At around 5500-6000 ft there was an excess of 30+ cm of new snow within the last 48 hours, snow was very dry and made for great riding conditions. No visual signs of instabilities in the snowpack on slopes <30°.

Experienced consistent snowfall throughout the day, roughly 1-2cm per hour.
