Comments

Lovely turns down the second dogleg this afternoon. Boot pen 15-20cm.

S1 increasing throughout the afternoon and turning into graupel. Recent single digit winds at Burstal pass appear to have given way to some enjoyable accumulation.

Isolated and unreactive wind affect where the trees thin out.

Low density snow blankets BTL/TL and above. Basal facets found under a 3cm crust at 2230m. CTN observed here. Old debris from size 1 down skiers left is avoidable and snow covered

At 2200m a hand sheer puled planar on possible depth hoar down 50cm on an NE rib.

Kananaskis seems to be holding on to winter much better than the 93s and happy with our choice.
