Toured up to Crowfoot Pass on Thursday 04/25. Early start at sunrise from Crowfoot Glacier VP. Traveling up to treeline was difficult on a strong MFcr, ski crampons would've been helpful/ were used. Above TL about 2 cm of light snow were sitting on a MFcr. Reached the pass by 11:30, T -3.7 °C, HS160, HST about 10, Wind M, SSE, PF about 15 cm. Obvious natural avalanche activity visible from the previous days (wind slabs, wet loose). No activity observed during the trip. Ride down was poor to fair skiing on north/norteast and quite tricky BTL. Temps in the valley were way above 0 when we got back to our vehicles by about 2:30 pm.
