Dug a quick pit on a NE facing slope at approx 1250M in the trees Probed 170cm
Found a crusty facet layer at 80cm about 6” thick with and another similar one right near the bottom.
Temp was -10 (ish) and overcast, slight wind off and on all day. Nice base setting up! Sign of older avalanches all aspects.
