Comments
Trecked in to Burstall Pass today. Quite windy on the walk in and wind increased as we got closer to the pass. Decided to ski mellow trees off the bench and were rewarded with deep deep powder. One other group up there with us.
Wind was strong throughout the day and was blowing powder in fast, enough to cover our tracks between laps in some places. Some big cornices building, and wind slabs present in some areas. One very small cornice had let go leaving some debris but no other evidence of major avalanches were seen.
