Comments
warm alpine temps today, lots of solar weighting with snow falling off trees and sloughing on steep southern slopes, north east aspects stayed nice and cool, did notice a new surface hoar layer starting to form on said NE aspect. viewed a rider triggered cornice failure resulting in a s1 on NE shaded aspect, all other slopes seemed stable.
