Comments
Amazing conditions on Quartz hill - we bagged both summits and descended on E aspect of second summit. Snow quality was amazing - about 45cm of unconsolidated snow sitting on the remains of old wind slab that was decomposing. Winds were very light this am but picked up in pm and clouds rolled in. No significant obs - no power sluffing either on our way down 35+deg terrain. Some point releases noted on our way back from the sun warming rocks on E aspect, but nothing much bigger than size 1. Nice to get back on skis after that terrible cold spell !
