Comments

30-40 cm wind slab broke 10-15 m across on top of crust from early Feb rain crust. We were skiing Kootenay Pass Frid-Sunday and set off 4-6 similar slides. All went on angles between 30-45 degrees. All slides were ski'd out by skiers but if in a terrain trap could have added up quickly or swept people through trees if run outs not available.
