Comments
First half of the trail, up to 1700m, had a nasty breakable crust, that gave way to some very decent 10-15cm of light snow on top of hard packed snow. South facing slopes were wind hammered and had variable snow quality on them. North facing slopes were amazingly good for skiing. We didn't dig any pits, but there were no signs of any activity in the area. At one point we skied a 35degrees slope with no results other than some minor surface sluffing.
