Comments
Sticky warm snow below 1500m this day, dry above. Observed shooting cracks on the ski tour up around 1600 to 2100m elevation on east aspect. Buried surface hoar 15 cm down visible by eye. Suspecting variable distribution as per usual. Watch out for this persistent weak layer in the future.
