Very strange snow experience on the Narao shoulder. Facets facets facets, gosh darn facets! Kick turns were a lot of efforts and relying on your pole would result in the pole sinking into the snow as if it were quick sand.
Had some nice turns nonetheless, and it’s always good to go for a walk in the woods. Curious how the new snow will interact with this layer.
