Keys & Claire Hut to Whirlwind Peak

We observed approximately 15-20 cm of fresh snow along most of the route, providing excellent conditions for skiing and riding. However, the upper slopes near the summit were wind-affected and crusty, which impacted the snow quality in that area. The descent down Whirlwind offered smooth and enjoyable turns. No significant signs of instability were noted during travel, but the wind effect on the upper slopes suggests exercising caution when venturing into steeper or unsupported terrain.
