Comments
10-15cm of recent new snow, evenly distributed on recent rain crust. Minor wind effect in North aspects. Isolated pockets of windslabs at ridge top. Marginal snow coverage below 1800m. Above that, 70-80cm on Southerly aspects and 90-100cm on Northerly aspects. Great travelling conditions with a generally supportive ankle deep crust. Loads of early season hazards but planar slopes skied well. Enjoy the sun!
