Comments

Skied Trio Mountain from Heber Main and the 2022 wildfire area. Drove to 450m elevation. Coverage was very thin in the trees (30-50cm) from 1000-1100m elevation. 2cm solar crust on S aspects to ridge tops (likely from Sunday’s sun). Multiple sz 1 slides on S aspects running up to 150m but not propagating (appeared to be pin wheel triggered) and likely also from Sunday’s sun.

Skied low density snow avoiding south aspects where possible which skied amazingly. When on unavoidable S aspects, the crust made for survival skiing conditions.

Sub zero temps with a mix of sun and clouds.
