Red Cabin at treeline

About 15cm fell overnight

Snowpack warmed throughout the day and became heavy around noon below 1600m

Skied up to 1709m at treeline on southern slope to investigate snowpack

Multiple wind-affected layers and facets and pictured

Decided to take out skin track back to sense trees and make our way down to Red Cabin

Early in the day the skiing was great in the trees near the cabin

Misty/ light rain led to thin crust on top of snow that was frozen the next day (Dec 9)
