Comments
Did a column test on the south face of cutblock peak below the summit. 10 cm of unconsolidated snow sitting on 60 cm of finger hard snow and 2 thick ice crusts. Sudden planar failure on the ice crust at 23 taps.
Great ski quality on the south face, the storm/wind transported snow was thicker down on the run (about boot deep).
