• Rapid temperature rise to near or above 0°C or wet surface snow.

Spearhead range N faces. Skies clear. Winds nil. On N faces temps -1 to 0 from 1800 to 2200m. Temps spiked to +8 @ 2200M and +10 @ 1700m on solar aspects.

Ski pen 3-5cms on N aspects. Assorted Na cornice drops on N faces indicated no propogation. Chalky fast snow on NW 500m steeper (approx 45 deg shot. Ditto on 400m moderate angled face. Then dogpoo snow on lower angled face. Go figure variability

Of course due to solar and heat lots of solar effect including pinwheeling
