Comments
10-15cm of new, very dry snow on top of a rain crust and consolidated snowpack. No signs of instability, just minor sluffing of the new snow. Made for some decent conditions to get up into Smokers Bowl and the south side of East Peak which has usually been too un-stable to access this year. It looks to only be a one-day thing with weather coming in tomorrow.
