Thin temperature crust present up to 1800m. Alpine and open Tree line ar ewind scoured with a lot of rocks showing its teeth. Height of snow between 50-80 cm and generally unsupportive to skis as soon as you step off the trail.
Dug a test pit at 2170m in a sheltered opening in trees.
