Comments
Traversed 5040 Peak to Adder Mountain on Sunday. 5cm fresh snow from Saturday. The day got progressively cloudy and windy with 2-3cm of snow falling during the day. Thick cloud made for difficult conditions navigating the alpine. Skier triggered cornice fall with chunks up to 1m^3 in size. Cornice was hanging on the north aspect of Adder’s summit ridge and caused minor propagation on the slope below (10m wide) and slid 30m.
