Compression test (n =2, within 5 m) had no weak layers collapse after 30 taps for both replicates. Top layer was was soft but some firmess to it. The far side of a nearby aspect (Avy path to the North) had a ~20cm wind loaded layer that had some reactivity, cracking ..etc. Soft and crumbly though, limited to 1-2m segments. Avoided this area.
