Comments
Skied between 1300-2500m on SE-SW aspects. We observed several whumpfs in open areas at the low end of treeline, so we dug down and found facets over a crust down 60 with sudden compression test results in the moderate to hard range. Also did a couple of extended column tests which propagated at moderate to hard as well. Sticking to lower angled slopes we gained a ridge at 2500m in the pm where the wind was moderate from the south and very chilly!
