Comments
Observation Location: Observed from Saddle Mountain side, looking across to the North Face of Mt. Temple and Lake Annette.
First Event: Heard a loud rumbling sound resembling a helicopter. Observed a natural avalanche releasing from high on Mt. Temple, with snow descending down the face.
Second Event: Approximately 5 minutes later, a second, larger natural avalanche released from the same aspect. A massive snow spray / powder cloud was generated, traveling down the path and completely blanketing Lake Annette at the base of the mountain.
