Comments
Multiple natural sz 1 loose sluffs and soft slab on SE, S and SW asp in Thunder Bowl and Emotional Blackmail, mostly initiating from clumps of trees and/or on isolated steep terrain features. Est. occurred Feb 3-4. Easily skier initiated in same terrain features, composed of upper 10-20 cm of recent snow. Did not examine failure plane. No stepping down into deeper layers, no lateral propagation and little to no entrainment of additional mass below the initiation point.
