Comments
About 10cm dust on crust rode surprisingly well and really fast on the ridge approaching Fee from Shovelnose Creek road.
Tree riding and skinning was pretty ugly but open slopes and logging road provided quick, easy travel. Parked around 850m with chains.
Observed a couple wet loose releases across the valley on bigger terrain. One snowboarder-triggered size 0.5 release on the west face of the first snowy knoll after climbing out of the meadows. Shallow crown (~10cm) was just the new snow on top of a firm, supportive crust.
