Comments
First Day Faff, pit was at level. Taps applied at an angle. Initial smallish failure on 3rd wrist tap. Cracks shot through upper part of block with first tap from elbow. Failure at crust about 40 cm down. Crust was maybe 4 cm thick, maldon salt flake style. Snow close to ground is sugary. Skiing was good, spots busy, solid snowing in the am and finished the day off sunny.
