Comments
Observed avalanche on Cabin Peak on Feb 6 10:30am. Unclear to avalanche slide time/date but appeared to be recent/within last 24hrs. Appears to be natural in cause and 2-2.5 in size.
Temperature, wind loading, and persistent slab likely all a factor.
Hand shear tests on similar aspects with no wind loading were breaking with ease around 15-20cm.
