Comments

We used the cut line above Canada Customs to access the treed glades above Fraser. It actually works pretty good for a storm skiing outing. More new snow overnight 5-10cm once again made for decent turns. These continued storms are also making it easy to forget about buried wind slab. As we pushed into steeper terrain near ridge we did our best to avoid this "low probability-high consequence" problem by feeling with our ski poles and constantly gauging ski penetration. When we felt hard slab below the new powder and the slope steepened, we rerouted. Creative route finding was our friend today.
