Comments

More snow than expected deposited on N facing lee feature due to wind loading. 20-30 cm depth of new snow. Size 1 avalanche remotely triggered by 2 skiers from skin track traversing through convex terrain. Shooting cracks prominent throughout slope.
Remote trigger on N facing slope with slight-moderate convexity near ridge line. Triggered at roughly 5:30 pm today. Lee feature wind loaded with shooting cracks. Skin track looker’s right out of shot, but shooting crack stretched from skin track roughly 50-100 m across the slope to the crown.
