Threading the needle at Oxo

Riding quality was:

• Cold
• Sunny

Avalanche conditions

• Slab avalanches today or yesterday.
• Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.

Puzzle/Oxo has seen some greater days, but still enough snow that has collected from the wind that allowed for some surprisingly good turns. Ranged from 10cm to 100+, but was able to avoid shark fin soup for most of the descent. One size 2 natural that looked relatively fresh off of the big rock wall to lookers left of Oxo

Would not have wanted to step into much steeper as saw some reactivity from numerous whumps in simple/terrain.

Approach and descent skin track better than expected, we kept skins on for the down and had no issues.
