Comments
Skied Marry’s Run this morning. Snow up top was good. Thick crust starting half way down. Dug a quick pit up top for an extended column test. Got a collapse on 6th hit from elbow, but didn’t propagate. Probably recent storm snow.
Saw lots of avalanches (see photos) on S and SW aspects (tree triangle, Geronimo, No socks). Lots of tracks on North Bowl, but no avalanches.
Sun was baking S aspects around 1 pm. Skiing down Shames runs was fun with crust melted by sun.
