Comments
Surface hoar (3-12mm) easily found (1 cm thick layer) down 65-70 cm.
Location was a sheltered meadow, where you might expect to find surface hoar.
Total snow depth was 130 cm at 1510m elevation near Hope BC.
Lots of fresh snow... foot pen was 70 cm +
