Comments

2x CT19 RP on Dfs and stellars down 35 around 1130am. Rapid settlement of snowpack throughout the day with moist cloud layer and warm temps.

45cm down lies a 15cm rain crust to which the bond appeared good in this location. Not noting presence of basal facets in this zone I saw 6 days ago in this test pit.

Skiing and riding was good albeit creamy and moist snow. Settlement of the snowpack is providing much easier travel in this zone now. Still lots of open creeks and snaggley trees. Sledded from between winter and summer parking lots where the mining turn off is. Parking is very constrained in this spot and the trail needs some serious grooming!
