Comments

Found great snow and ski conditions from 2100m to 2450m in the roadside area of Apollo Bowl on Hector. The snow isn't super deep (60-70cm in most places) but it is supportive and settling out nicely. Didn't find much of the Nov crust in this area and no signs of wind slab either. Below 2000m the forest is thin but we were still able to ski all the way back to the road. A light, very cold wind was present once we got out of the trees and the sun popped out only a few times during the day.
