Comments
Few cm of fresh snow overnight. Just enough to cover existing tracks but not enough to avoid feeling them underneath. We went up to the shelf. First stretch down was soft snow and the lower you got the harder and more tracked out it was. Bottom superhighway out was full of hardpacked moguls.
Some guys went up higher than the shelf to tree line/end of snow cover and said the snow was even better and based on their pit and general observations, it appeared quite stable.
Lots of pinwheels visible in the higher alpine section as it warmed up.
