Comments
Great day in Silver Sands! There was 30 cm fresh powder from Thursday’s dump, and almost no tracks on it. We stayed in the trees, off the big slopes and found amazing powder (30-60 cm) in the trees and creek bottoms. There was a widespread crust below the latest storm snow that was consistently reacting in the low moderate range, (CTM12 x2 SP Dn 30 on crust) so we stayed away from any big features and BTL. Amazing snow and there was nobody there! Trail is pounded out pretty bad, though.
